This week in Owls class we had a very special and important visitor = a lawyer and judge!
He explained to us all what the role of a lawyer and a court is. We then conducted a trial to decide if Jaffa Cakes are a cake or a biscuit. Half of us were in ‘team biscuit’, and half of us were in 'team cake'. We observed and respected the traditions of the courtroom, and each took a turn to make our case.
We had a fantastic time, and many of us have the makings of great 'legal eagles'. We rest our case Your Honour!
